Default Should All-Boys and All-Girls Schools be publicly funded?

Hey everyone, students, scholars and everyone in education,

What do you think? If all-boys or all-girls schools were publicly funded, would you attend them? or send your children? Are they better or worse than co-education models? why and how?

There's a political debate raging now about whether or not the Canadian government, or more specifically Dalton McGuinty's Ontario provincial government of Ontario should rethink the coeducation model.

This single gender education article on Orato doesn't take a position. what is your position?

I need facts, ideas and if possible, real life anecdotes. Does anyone have any real life experiences and opinions to contribute?
